Name: Ivan Braginsky
Age: 22
Occupation: Hustler (He’s essentially a pimp, if you get what I’m saying. But no feathers and odd clothing. He sleeps around with his property.)
Background:
After Katya had left him and their little sister by themselves, Ivan was a bit depressed. He found that he had to make money by himself and earn a living to support his sister. He hated Natalia living with him, but he wasn’t going to throw her off of the streets... Yet, anyways. The Russian quickly learned that his sister was more obsessed with him than he had previously thought and developed a phobia of some sorts. He locked himself in his room to escape his insane sister but he still had to face her every night. She constantly asked him to marry her, love her, or to have sex with her---all things that he declined out of sheer respect for a fellow family member. These things eventually caused him to rely on alcohol to relieve his pent-up stress. Therefore, Ivan met his first love; vodka.
But he was not as happy as he used to be still. Belarus still lived with him, but some nights she was out on her own. This had not bugged the young man until he found out that his little sister had been selling her body out to the public. Ivan found it appalling, what his sister did, but soon after he also learned how much money she was making, and he knew at that moment that he needed a job other than doing laundry for other people and taking care of households for them. He needed no money to begin his ‘business’, which was selling women to men for a price. This meant that he would get most of the money and pay the prostitutes with his own biased system, often including how well they performed in his bed.
He knew that his sister didn’t like it when he brought his employees home for the night, but he began to not care about Natalia whatsoever and tried to ignore her. Ivan became more corrupt and powerful in his trade as he became more widely known and slowly, he became older. He and his sister live in a bit more expensive apartment now, but he no longer provides her with anything but shelter, food, and water. As much as Ivan would like to get rid of her---I mean, he really, really would---but he doesn’t have the heart to tell his little sister that he hates her.
Personality:
Ivan is a friendly kind of guy when you first meet him. He smiles a lot and speaks softly, but expresses himself. However, deep down beneath that creepily childish face lays a monster. His heart is as cold as the snow from his family’s native Russia. Ivan’s smile begins to turn into the epitome of insanity, as if he was a mentally impaired person. His violet eyes are unforgiving, harsh, just like the way he judges everyone before he actually speaks with them. He has a strange way of knowing what a person (or a customer) will be like before he officially speaks to them. He is known around the Red-Light District as “Doc” for his ability to ‘feel’ people’s personalities, much like a doctor diagnosing his patient. Ivan also tends to be a violent drunk and will resort to anything to come out on top of the rest when he feels challenged. He doesn’t care about pleasing the women he brings to bed, so long as his pleasures are fulfilled. The young man has a strange attachment to the light-coloured scarf that his sister Katya made for him a long time ago and refuses to part with it. His scarf is his most valued possession to date.

((Rainstorm outside of his apartment.))
Ivan watched sadly as the rain fell down outside of his apartment in Los Angeles. Miserably dark grey clouds thundered above him and shook the foundation of the complex that he was standing inside. Rain water poured down buckets. Life couldn’t have gotten any more boring. His brain pounded against his skull over and over… Over and over… the Russian wasn’t used to this kind of gloomy weather, but he should have expected the low pressure that came with the precipitation. He should have known that it was going to be bitterly cold inside of his bare white apartment. He should have known…
“It is… raining cats and dogs outside, if I remember the idiom correctly,” he mumbled to himself as lightning struck not too far off from the apartment complex that Katya, Natalia, and he were staying in. “Da, definitely raining buckets out there…”
“Broder, why don’t you get away from that nasty window and come sit next to me…?” His youngest sister begged, patting the ground next to her. Ivan shivered, feeling cold sweat begin to form on his brow as he narrowed his eyes.
“Ah-! I do not think that I will need to move, sister. I think I’ll be just fine…” The Russian said. “Over here… By myself…” He emphasized his last two words. He tried to be a good brother for Natalia… He really did, but Natalia had ways of making him feel uncomfortable.
“Kali laska…?” She asked again in Belorussian. Ivan’s blood turned into ice.
“N-nyet!” He said sternly. “That is not necessary, Natalia, stop asking… I’m getting particularly hot.”
“Oh, broder, I already knew that. You’re getting hotter by the second, aren’t you?” Natalia asked in the most innocent voice she could manage. Ivan felt sick to his stomach… “I bet that if you took some of your clothes off, then you wouldn’t be so hot. Would you like me to help?!” The Belarusian offered excitedly. Ivan threw his hands into the air.
“Nyet, nyet! Natalia, I’ll be fine! I’ll be fine…”
“Are you sure…?” She was edging closer to him.
“Da.” He was edging farther away with each step she took. /My sister is a strange one… She has an odd way of expressing her love. Ah well, she is family. I love her anyway… Sometimes I wish I could throw her across the room and make a run for it, but I guess that this happens in every family… Right?/ Ivan thought to himself before placing his head in his hands. /No!/
