So— This is basically an AU Hetalia RP. It takes place in the future, year 2050 (so feel free to add sci-fi elements), specifically in Los Angeles, California. So that's not vital information, but just in case the need to know pops up. The red-light district is tucked away in a small corner of the city, and that is where the main story will be taking place.
There aren't many goals—just have fun and create as much drama as you can. I want to have a lot of roles clashing, so diversify the occupations a little. The main focus is on the red-light district, of course, but I'll be happy to have any policemen or politicians wandering about. They can be corrupt or not, or however you want to make them. Be as creative as possible. <3
And this is about as far as my failure planning goes, so suggestions are very welcome. |D;;

What were you planning on doing? And it doesn't have to be completely futuristic. I just wanted to create a semi-fictional location so that we wouldn't have to worry about laws or adhering too much to what's happening at the present. Because there'd be no red-light district in LA in 2011. |D;;

Ah, s'not really my idea that doesn't fit... Hell, I dunno. But, in general, it didn't seem to fit the era. I was pro'ly just being paranoid; Only around a forty-year difference, after all.

yeah it's cause all the Proboards I've been on do that and when you make a thread the title either says (open) meaning everyone can join or ( *insert Character's name*) meaning only the person named and the creator can post

Well, we've always done rps where you basically have sections in the land, like towns, caves or buildings that get their own thread, and when you leave the establishment you go to another thread.
It made things fun, especially when the hosts did events and stuff.
